The rooms at Kloster Malgarten are cozy and comfortable, perfect for a weary traveler like me. I loved the communal kitchens, it made cooking and sharing meals with fellow guests a delightful experience. The desk in every room was a great addition too, perfect for catching up on work or planning my travels.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the communal kitchens. It's just not my thing, but I can see how others might enjoy the social aspect and the opportunity to cook together.

What a magical place to stay! The old building had so much charm and history, it felt like stepping back in time. The beautiful surroundings, with a park, ponds, and even farm animals, added to the enchanting atmosphere. I loved exploring the nearby artist collective and seeing their incredible artwork. The room itself was spacious and had a rustic, ancient feel with its old wooden floors and heavy wooden beams in the ceiling. Plus, the self-service breakfast included in the price was a nice extra touch and allowed for a flexible start to the day. Meeting interesting and friendly locals added to the overall memorable experience.
While the hotel was generally quiet, there were times when the comings and goings of other guests were audible. It's also worth noting that during my stay, there was a larger group in for a workshop, which required some negotiation when it came to using the shared kitchen.

The Pros of my stay were abundant. the hotel provided free bikes, allowing me to embark on exciting adventures in the beautiful surroundings of Bramsche. Exploring the area on these bikes felt like riding towards happiness on a two-wheeled chariot. , the private bathroom in my room was equipped with a shower and free toiletries that made me feel like I was bathing in the lap of luxury. The hotel truly understands the importance of pampering its guests. Lastly, the onsite restaurant featured mouthwatering Italian cuisine, which transported my taste buds to culinary heaven. The delectable dishes served at Da Pino were like a symphony of flavors, leaving me craving for more.
Church bells ringing occasionally.

We loved exploring the fascinating history of this former monastery, with informative displays throughout the building. The beautiful grounds surrounding the historic buildings were a delight to wander around. The rooms, complete with names over the doors, gave a sense of the lives of the monastery's previous occupants. The owners were friendly and welcoming.
Felt like VIPs, no complaints whatsoever.
